Since 1997, Sipla has opted for the ISO 9001:2000 quality management system, with a view to respect the quality requirements of its clients throughout the full manufacturing process. Twice a year, an independent organ vouching for the conformity of the firm to the ISO 9001:2000 standards, audits Sipla's management system.

What does « ISO 9001:2000 mean? »
The objective of ISO 9001.2000 is to specify a range of requirements allowing customers to grant their trust to the SIPLA management system.
These requirements cover a wide range of subjects: Sipla's management commitment to favour quality, its client orientation the adequacy of its resources, the competency of its staff, the management of production processes and subcontracting, quality planning, product design, the review of incoming invoices, purchases, the follow-up and assessment of its processes and products, the standardization of its measuring tools, the procedure for dealing with customer complaints, corrective and preventive measures, and the obligation to conduct an improvement action of the SMQ. Finally, the standard stipulates that Sipla should oversee the way in which its clients perceive the quality of the goods and services it provides.

In short, the ISO 9001:2000 means that Sipla has implemented a systematic approach for quality management and that the company ensures that its clients’s needs are clearly understood, taken into account, and given satisfaction.
